About The Retreat

Our retreat has been crafted with you in mind. Expect mornings of sword flow and creativity, days of Valkyrie photoshoots and mountain climbing, and evenings of grand banquets and dance lessons — all woven together with relaxation, imagination, and enchantment.
What's Included?
Sword Flow
Begin each morning with sword flow — a graceful blend of movement, strength, and fantasy. Awaken the body, focus the mind, and prepare for the day ahead with a blade in hand. Dragon-slaying is optional (we adore them).
Book Themed Meditations
Follow your morning sword stretches with a journey into a magical book world built inside your mind. Our guided meditations transport you into storybook realms, helping you set your intentions, align your spirit, and prepare for the adventures of the day ahead.
Climb the Mountain
Join our guided hike through the Lake District mountains, mantra in hand. Release it at the summit and feel the sense of accomplishment crash over you like a wave — your journey rewarded with a commemorative Valkyrie patch.
Dance of Valkyries
Experience a more intimate fantasy ball with a personal touch. Learn elegant and expressive dances, guided by Holly, with movements you can carry into any fantasy event. Lose yourself in the passion and freedom of the Dance of the Valkyries.
A High Fae Welcome
Arrive on the island to a warm High Fae welcome. Enjoy Prosecco on arrival, mingle with fellow guests, and savour a light pre-dinner bite as the retreat begins.
Valkyrie Photoshoot
Strike your pose against the breathtaking backdrop of a private island manor, with mountains and water all around. This Valkyrie-themed photoshoot celebrates your character — expect both group and solo shots that capture your strength, style, and spirit.
Valkyrie Trials
Start the retreat with icebreakers and team-bonding challenges. These trials and tribulations are the perfect way to connect with your fellow Valkyries and form your squadron for the days ahead.
Private Chef
Each day, enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by your dedicated private chef. These intimate meals are a time to relax, reflect, and connect with your fellow retreaters, nourishing both body and spirit.
A Silver Gift
Take home your very own sword from the Knight’s Vault, engraved to be personal to you. For guests travelling from abroad, we’re happy to ship your sword after the retreat, so you can journey home unburdened.

Add a touch of whimsy to your personal library. Paint the edges of a book or canvas (provided) with us to create something uniquely magical — or bring a book of your choice and make it entirely your own.
Games & Gatherings
Whether it’s a night in the games room or a fantasy film in the cinema, there’s always something to enjoy. Gather, laugh, and build camaraderie in this magical, immersive setting.
Earn your Patches
Earn patches as you make your way through the retreat, receiving a new one with each section you complete, and claim your final patch as you are officially welcomed into the Order of the Valkyries.
In the Manor
Our retreats 6 star manor is situated on its own private island in the beautifully remote western Lake District. Surrounded by water and wilderness. It offers an array of exclusive amenities — from a games room and sauna to a private cinema and on-site hair salon, all in a place where fairies might linger and dragons may pass overhead.

Wake to sweeping mountain, river, and valley scenery, with uninterrupted views across the River Lune. Enjoying your morning coffee or winding down at sunset? The surrounding landscape offers a constant sense of calm, space, and natural beauty.
Games Room
The manor offers a fully equipped games area including a ping pong table, pool table, games room, and even a casino space. Perfect for friendly competition, laughter, and late-night bonding with your fellow retreaters.
Salon
A dedicated hair salon is available within the manor for those who wish to use it as a styling space while getting ready. Whether you’re preparing for the photoshoot, our banquet evening, or simply enjoying a moment of self-care, the salon offers a comfortable and convenient place to style and refresh.
Cinema
Gather in the private cinema room to watch your favourite fantasy films whenever the mood strikes. It’s a cosy, communal space designed for shared stories, relaxation, and a little evening escapism.
Spa
Unwind in the spa facilities, complete with sauna and hot tub. For deeper relaxation, we will have other wellness or spiritual sessions available to book, offering a soothing way to restore both body and mind.
Private Island
All of this takes place within a six-star manor house set on its very own private island. Secluded, luxurious, and entirely immersive, the setting allows you to fully step away from the outside world and into an experience that feels truly magical.
The Lake District
Our retreat sits in Lancaster, by the western outskirts of The Lake District. England’s largest National Park is a land shaped by ancient glaciers and quiet magic. With misty mountains, mirror-like lakes, and storybook villages tucked between valleys, it offers a rare blend of wild beauty, gentle adventure, and literary legacy… a setting that feels perfectly destined for our fantasy wellness retreat.
